I've got the same problem with the Windows 7 RC operating system. When I tried to
delete Windows.old folder, it seems that it's really deleting it, (as indicated in
the pop-up box telling "Recyling items.....), but then after a minute or two a message
appears that the files is no longer located in C:\ or sumthing like that. The option
is Try again or Cancel, when i choose Try again, it just repeat the deletion process
and the same message after awhile. Well, i thought it deleted the windows.old already
but when i check the folder and its contents they are still there.
In Windows 7 Beta, I managed to delete the windows.old folder with no problem at
all.
