The problem is in the manufacturer's labeling. The card only has 16MB and pulls the remaining 240MB from the system's memory (RAM). I wasn't aware of this until recently. My understanding is that this is nolonger a standard practice. I have just ordered a new video card (EVGA Geforce GTX285 512bit w/1GB memory) and will see how that works.
