win 7 and GeForce mx4000 Friday, July 31, 2009 at 2:37 pm Windows 7 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by mike patterson (30 messages posted) was running winxp with GeForcemx4000 graphics card all ok. now with win7 when running hearts or solitare, play is very slow and i get msg saying hardware accelerator may not be set to high or need updated graphics driver. accelerator is set to high and GeForce says latest driver is installed. system device manager shows 2 standard vga standard graphics adapters and the 2nd one has msg saying it can't start. belarc advisor shows standard graphics adapter rather than showing specific GeForce graphics card. anyone have any ideas how to speed up graphics with win7.
