None of the MX cards can even handle Dx8, let alone the Dx9 that (AFAIK) is the minimum level. They were designed at the same time as the GF2 GTS, back in 2001 or so, but were the budget card back then, and pretty worthless by about 2003 or so, no matter that nVIDIA partners kept on churning them out.

My own Minimum Requirements for 7 after my own tests,
