My info shows that MS designed Win 7 that you can not use the Upgrade Version to
go from XP 32 to Win 7 x64. It's not considered a valid upgrade path. You have to
do a full version install. Although PC World did publish some hacks to get around
the issue (received a lot of flack about publishing hacks to pirate software). Check
the Win 7 upgrade site. By the way, I'm running Win 7 Pro x64 with no problems at
all.
