If you use a lot of old Software that won't run in Windows 7, you would need to get a the more expensive Version of 7 pro or ultimate, and make sure the Computer Hardware supports the XP mode. Chances are though you won't be able to figure that out if you can't handle 7s new look. Read some of the Tutorials posted on the Internet about the topic.
