I eventually used wizard transfer to ext HD then to new PC and then 5 of those hours having to splice in the email folders he created for various junk to save. Norton was already installed so I just entered in key. No complaints yet on speed though- w/ 4Gb Ram & Dual core it had better be decent. His older PC was @ 700 mhZ he just had to have the heavy duty vsn of norton, frustrated me too no end. I told him it was cheaper in the long run to buy HP PC than to have me build it for him- still I get to be his "tech support" while he learns Win 7.
