Something preventing windows 7 from remembering such things. I have read that some say windows 7 just does not have a feature to remember folder size and positions, but this seems really odd. I also noticed that IE8 went through the series of screens it does when you first use it; but did this days after I had already done these steps. Again is if it can not retain the information that it has already done this.
