I am dual booting between XP and Windows 7 so I can learn more about 7 and still have a proven XP system to work in. I installed my Word 2002 in 7 and when I tried to activate it, was informed it was already activated on another computer (dont remember the exact wording). I take it that when an MS app is activated it is tied to the physical computer and not to the OS? Right now I have no plans for another Word purchase. I also have MS Outlook 2007 but have not activated it on the 7 side. Probably get the same results. I just want to see what works in 7 and go from there.
