You might be better off with the default VGA driver. I installed Win7 on an older
Intel D865GBF motherboard with built-in graphics. Win7 didn't have a driver so it
used the default VGA driver provided by Microsoft.
I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to set the native resolution for my monitor
(1280x1024). In fact, I think the correct resolution was set automatically during
the installation. The display looked okay. It displayed jpeg files and movies well.
It wouldn't run Aero, and it struggled with games that use fancy graphics, but otherwise
it did just fine.
In your case, I don't know how you would change drivers. Maybe you could uninstall
the current driver in Device Manager, and reboot.
Actually I would try booting in Safe Mode first to see what happens. I believe safe
mode uses the standard VGA driver.
