Maybe the Computer is crashing as it tries to go into Standby. Disable the Power Management, or set it to something like 4 hours, and see what happens.

Only common link I see there is the use of the multimedia system but that could just be a red herring, lots of things use the multimedia system. Maybe faulty RAM, always a suspect on random crashes.

EVERY Vista BSOD that I ever saw was the result of bad drivers or bad hardware.

Since 7 is for all practical purposes Vista Second Edition, in your case I would
expect the same.

Run the memory checkers, run the hard drive diagnostic, check the hardware manufacturer
for up to date drivers.

I did change the power management to 4 hrs. and it does seem to take care of it for
me. If you leave it idle for 4 hrs. it might still have the same problem. For me
this would be OK.
Thanks again

Then that is a clue as to what is wrong. The easy thing to do is just turn off Power Management.

To add to this I would check in your bios to see all power management options are
turned off as they sometimes they conflict with windows managed settings.
