How to stop a program from running whenever you start Windows

To stop (or start) a program/service running every time Win95, 98, etc. starts up, try downloading Startup control panel, from Mike Lin's site: mlin.net. It's very useful, however, I don't think it makes use of the WIN.INI & SYSTEM.INI files. Meaning, a program might be loaded through one of those, and it doesn't know about it. Still, it's very a good program - available in CPL format & EXE.
