Boot to DOS, and load up system.ini Open up the file, and find the line which says 'Shell=Explorer.exe'. Change this line to 'Shell=Progman.exe'. This will give you access to windows using the Windows 3.1 style program manager. This is a useful back door if you need to make backups etc. before you reinstall windows.
