I am interested in being able to format a floppy disk to be able to not only have
1.44mb but 1.70mb; I once took a DOS class & my teacher at the time said he could
do this & would show us later on, but after all of the stuff I was deeply into and
understanding, I never did remember until it was too late to ask him about that formatting
a floppy disk to hold the capacity of 1.70mb instead of 1.44mb; He told about playing
a trick sometimes, that he would have information on a disk holding 1.70mb and said;
Download this! He seemed to laugh about how his friend couldn't do it, but he confest
to telling him the secret. He was very willing to show us all, and what really gets
me to this very day, is that I got so into my studies, that I didn't remember to
ask him until much later. Wether or not I learn of this technic in 1 to 5 years from
now; I trully believe this will become a thing of the past eventually, but few may
know, and yes! I hope I am one of those few people. I love the abilities of computers
so much, that I have even considered learning how to hack, but I am into art/webpages
and so many artistical stuff to do with the web to know something to even be capable
to harm others. To answer about formatting a FLOPPY higher in capacity than it is
known to handle so far as we all know; I would love to be able to do this, and am
still looking right know.
