Greetings, After many years and many ISP's, I am trying to clean up my machine. I have a stubburn icon on my desktop that won't go away. When I click on it, it has conection manager as it's heading and says my service profile is damaged and to reinstall it. I see that I can delete the conection manager under install and remove programs. My question: Is connection manager related to dial up network? I am using DUN to connect to the internet so don't want to mess with that. This icon has been a real anoyance for many a year. Thanks for your help Rick
