I am having a slow performance problem also, but haven't found any relief yet. in my case, the system goes into a pause for maybe two or three minutes before resuming. at first i thought it was a lockup and shut the sysytem down and did the scandisk without any system response change. This happens to me even when there are no applications in use, say during the system startup. this is a killer. so i'd like some help if anyopne has suggestions.
