Problem with CTRL+ALT+DEL End Task

Problem with CTRL+ALT+DEL End Task --- When i open the close program (end task) box
and try to end task a program, the message comes with - this program is not responding,
and you can choose to end task or cancel. When I choose end task, the computer freezes
with - Closing (program) on the titlebar of the close program box. Can anyone please
find a solution to this?
