removing e anthology virus scan software from win 95

I installed imesh software some time back. But later uninstalled. A spy detector
software Stop sign which is created by eanthology was also installed along with
this. Now I am unable to uninstall this software and it keeps on opening the explorere
sayign that it has detected 10 bil virus. If I try to remove thru add/remove programmes
it says 'unknown error encounted' cannot be removed. Its such a pain I keep doing
a find and delete of any file with stop or eanthology. But still I don't know how
this software keeps coming.
Can any body suggest a way to remove this nonsense. I ve even tried re installing
windows 95
