You can get a shareware program that allows you to download onto a series of floppydisks, 
ie, it tells you how many foppies are needed to split up the file to store. Later 
you reinstate each floppy inturn to build the file back up.

Go to www.passtheshareware.com/c-file-u.htm

Look for a program called:- Part-it

This 'parts' it and then 'glues' it back. Usefull program!
