Easiest Way to Install 95 On Old Laptop?

I have an old style laptop where I can only use either the floppy or CD-Rom at a time, so what is the easiest way to install 95 on it? I tried to install dos first, but I can't get the laptop to boot to disk 1. Any suggestions?
