Because you can't load Windows 95 off of a floppy, and there is no option in the bios to boot to a CD ROM. Remember, I can only use the floppy OR the CD-ROM because they share the same bay. So I was trying to load dos on the hard drive so that I can put the CD-ROM in and have it work.
