u can do it from DOS ,do you have a systen bootdisk ,if not gett one here http://www.bootdisk.com/bootdisk.htm, the nyou put it in the floppy and boot computer to the A:\ prompt and rename the files back to win.com and what ever the other one was by typing this this at the A:\--- REN C:\WINDOWS\win.bak win.com ------hit enter and then rename the other one .
