You've probably found a respose somewhere else by now, but just in case, I thought
I would provide you with a better response than the last one someone else left.
Physically,the DMF format is similar to the 1.68Mb The major difference is that
the 1.68Mb has 224 entries in the / directory, and a cluster size of 512 bytes.
the DMF format has 16 entries in the / directory and comes in two flavors: DMF1024
(for 1024 bytes) or DMF2048 (for 2048 bytes) cluster size.
However, the 1.72Mb has 2 more tracks (82 instead of 1.68Mb's 80) and is NOT compatible
with WinNT's NTFS file system, whereas 1.68Mb and DMF are compatible with NTFS.
