Boot the machine to a command prompt (dos mode )
Type: edit config.sys and press enter.
arrow down to the line that reads \factonly\cdrom.sys
and add the letters rem and a blank space at the beginning of the line. Press the
letter f for file, arrow down to save and press enter. Then f again and arrow down
to exit and press enter.
Restart the computer.
