This is from another help site (I can give you the link), and I have used this method 
with success several times:
Removing Programs listed in the Control Panel's "Add/Remove Programs" Section 
If you remove an installed program and its files by deleting the files, it may still 
be listed in the Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel. To remove it from the list: 

Start the Registry Editor  (Go to Start--Run--regedit)
Open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Uninstall 
Delete the program entry here 
Close the registry editor and restart Windows 
Note: This can also be achieved with TweakUI, one of Microsoft's PowerToys
