Hi! – I thought I responded but apparently I did so to the wrong forum. It was searchmeup
that I was hijacked with. But unfortunately, a lot of water has passed under the
bridge since then. While looking around, I noticed an update in the Windows update
utility that appeared to be causing problems so I uninstalled the service pack –
that fixed nothing and caused other problems. So on advice, I re-installed Windows
over top of the existing installation. Now I’m beginning to make a mess out of this
thing! I’m hoping to recover without cleaning the disk and starting over. Any help
would be greatly appreciated.
Here’s my Current Issues:
Following are the warning messages I receive as I attempt various operations
#######
>>On Windows Startup

#######
#######
>>On application load

A couple of side notes:
· My Internet connection does function still but will not yet load a page. It shows
data being received – very little being sent. Ping will send.
· My display now has 16 colors max. Did I lose my driver?
