Don't want to confuse people, but here is my input:
You did not state whether the CD was SCSI or IDE. If SCSI, the bootdisk must have
a statement in config.sys for the SCSI host, followed by statement in config.sys
(and possibly autoexec.bat) pointing to the driver that is specific to that CD drive.
If CD is IDE, I believe the BIOS needs to accommodate this and there may still need
to be a statement pointing to a driver in config.sys or autoexec.bat. Remember,
the bootdisk is basic DOS and you have to work at that level until you get a windows
os mounted. Don
