I re-installed windows 95 on my computer and had to download Internet Explorer 5.0 to re-install it since my OS has the 3.0 version. But when I tryed installing ie5.0 a window pops up that says; "Windows was unable to install all the components". Same happens when I Try installing mozilla, and other browsers, even Aol & netzero. Every time a window pops up that says cannot install, missing dll. file, etc. I've been using k-meleon browser, it's the only way I could get to this page. I tried updating my computer at the microsoft website, but they do not have any updates for Win95 anymore. Is there anything I can do to have my system working once again?? My lap top is about 7 years old. System is: (Win95 Pentium 32mb ram 4.00.950b) Is upgrading the only way out? I was told I could only upgrade to Win ME, and that I could not upgrade to Windows xp or 2000. Can someone please help?
