Hi, I had the same problem on my Windows 98 PC. The solution for me:
1) To get rid of the vredir.vxd and msnp32.dll errors, I uninstalled the Microsoft
networking client (Start -> Control Panel -> Network, highlight Microsoft Networking,
click Remove, OK, restart PC)
2) This left the dfs.vxd error. For this one, I just had to delete the key for it
out the registry. To do this, Start -> Run, type regedit, click OK. Click Edit ->
Find, type dfs.vxd, click Find Now. It found one entry in my entire registy. I deleted
just that one key (highlight dfs.vxd on the right-hand side and hit the delete key
on your keyboard). You might want to save your registy before you mess with it, to
do this, click File -> Export Registry. I hope this helps someone!
