invalid system disc, insert disk and press any key

thats what it says when it gets locked up, I deleted some files and now it just stays
on the invalid system disc screen, before that it says the amount of system memory
has changed or the suspend to disk file is absent. and before that when its starting
and all the info about the computers showing it says system ram-passed, and then
the system bios, and video bios say shadowed, whatever that means, so maybe someone
can help, please.
