What Kiwi says is good info as far as it goes. The question is how important being
online is. If your using a dial up modem, you'll need to have the proper modem drivers
for your 98 installation. Don't count on the 98 disk having them. Most cases involves
opening the case, removing the modem, and getting all the data off it. Then a search
thru "Google" may help you find it. Sadly, new modems cost around $20.00, but unless
your installing 98SE, these new modems rarely come with drivers for 98FE or 95. Take
your time with this problem, it can turn out ugly.
p.s. Same applies to your sound card.
