hi, i've got a fairly old laptop running on 4.00.950B and I recently tried to activate the usb drive to retreive the mounds of work sitting on the machine. i followed the guidelines and after running the first program (USBSUPP.EXE) and restarting, it now won't startup again. the screen just reads "starting caldera DR.DOS... EMM386 3.27 Copyright..." etc. I know the wrong procedures can damage the computer, but I followed the instructions and now it's not responding to anything. just wondering if you know why this happened and what I can do? I'm quite hopeless with this sort of thing and I'd really hate to have lost all that work, so I would really appreciate any advice you could give me. thanks, nick
