oops I think ive killed another lap top

I had to borrow my bosses old lap top (a Toshiba satallite pro 420cdt running on
win 95) for a job at work and I managed to drop it while it was running. it would
not restart , after connecting to the mains it restarted but it would not start windows.
After a few attempts it would run windows but run few programs.I managed to run scan
disc and it popped up a number of faults after a few runs of scan disc it was greatly
improved. This has left me with the following problems:- 1.the lap will not run on
the battery 2.when I open my computer off the desktop the lap top switches off 3.when
I open control panel it brings up an explorer fault (at module 0000;0044121f).
If somebody could help me out of the sh1t as my boss comes back off holiday on Monday
