You still need to install drivers for anything not included in Win95, and that includes
the sound chips -- surf over to Gateway and track down the particular old PC involved
in their software download section, and locate the audio driver set for Win 95/98
to get copies of, and then to run the file to install.
There may have been video drivers as well, but after you get on Gateway's site, the
page for your old computer's particular model number will group all applicable downloads
together.
