re: system boot failure

I did not download them to my desktop, (XP), however I will try that,
the drive did atleast try to open up the drive, on version b boot disk,
the error message changed slightly but still wouldn't work.
I have tried to go into setup by tapping del, however nothing happens.
I have also tried the F8 key to go into dos, but that will not work either.
I will try downloading the boot disks to my desktop first though and hopefully
that will help.
I would be grateful for any more suggestions in the mean time.
