Hi, Jerry,
I think you have got to the root of the problem. I have attempted the two things
you suggested - still no solution , but I think some important revelations.
There was no AudioCD in the File Types list but I did find CD Audio Track which I
hope is the same thing. But there seemed to be a whole lot of stuff missing. In the
Edit File Type Window there is nothing in Content type and nothing in the Default
ext for content type boxes. It didn't open with CD player - I couldn't find the commands
Open or Play - that window was blank and I added the commands manually - it seems
that the cd player has undergone some kind of trauma associated with the jukebox.
I can't actually delete this as the main files for the JB were stored on the detachable
extra hard drive I used to use which is broken.
I don't have a windows installation cd but 25 back up floppy disks which I was instructed
to make as the machine came with Windows 95 already installed. It seems that reinstallation
is the best option as all is definitely not well with cd player.
Many thanks again,
Woolly
