Morning Glenda,
Make a folder on your hard drive (perhaps, call it recipes). Copy the Works files
from your diskettes to the folder. Open MS Word. Do File, Open. In the pop-up window,
there should be a box that says "Files of type". Click the drop down arrow and arrow
down until you see Works. there will be several versions of Works. Pick one. Now
navigate to the recipes folder you made and you should see all your Works files.
You may need to experiment by using different Works versions to see which one opens
your files correctly. When you find the right one, and the text looks good in Word,
do a file-save as on the Word menu and make sure you save it as a .doc file.
After all that, you can make me an apple pie and e-mail it to me. Good luck. Don
ps. Keep your origonal files on diskette just in case...
