Hi Don,
Thanks for your help. I only found one version of Works (4.0), which wouldn't work.
Although following your instructions didn't work completely, they led me to a place
where, through a lot of clicking around, I have retrieved the data. For anyone
else who might have this problem, here is what I did: 1) Opened Word 2) Clicked on
file>open. 3)Navigate to file. 4) Choose: Recover text from any file.
It obviously isn't in a very organized form, but at least it is readable. If you
have any ideas as to how I could get it back into the Works (Recipe) format, the
pie would be in the oven in a jiffy.
Thanks again. I feel fortunate to at least be able to see the 100 pages of data
I laboriously typed in over several years.
