I have a Acer Aspire 2850. I tried to load the win 98 upgrade that came with the
system. It did not load. The computer got restarted and now it will not go to windows.
It brings up an error about the registry. I have researched on the internet-some
ideas how to fix this. I tried quite a few of them with no luck. I did some help
on restoring it to a prev time. But, there was none that I could restore to. I know
my system came with the restore disks but I can not seem to find them. I have called
Acer and they do not even show my computer as one they made! I thought that was kind
of strange. What is some options? Is there anything else I could do? I have looked
on the net to see if I can find a place that sells restore disks. Any help would
be appreciated.
