I assume you have I.E. 5.5 on a disk. If so, create a folder in C:\program files,
name it something relevant like IE55Full, then put your disk in the rom drive, copy
it into that folder, and run it from there. No need to do 5.0. 4.0 to 5.5 direct
is fine.
If your disk has multple files, reboot in dos. Should give you C:\windows. then..
CD C:\ and press enter. at the C:\ prompt type..
copy D:\*.* C:\program files\IE55Full press enter.
If your cd-rom is something other than D, change accordingly.
