Windows 95 Annoyances Discussion Forum

I recently purchased a CD-Rom drive for my Omnibook 5500CS running Windows 95. It
plugs in the IDE in the same bay as the floppy-drive (which works fine). The computer
does not 'find' this new hardware when I turn it on with it in place or when I run
the 'Add Hardware Wizard'. I want to update to Win 98SE - but can not without the
CD drive working. Any suggestions please . . . ;o(
