There's a lot of places to go and read tutorials on the install procedure on a cleaned
hard drive, but you should have checked for those before taking the leap into the
deep end of the pool. There were "drivers" you needed to save off first. Now, on
an old PC, you will probably be having a lot of trouble replacing those.
It sounds as if you do not have the correct Win95 floppy for the install of the OS,
but you can get an image to put on a floppy from www.bootdisk.com and then when you
run that (it doesn't go ON a floppy as downloaded, it has to RUN from the Hdd to
make a floppy), you can get the PC running for the install.
My opinion is that the next URL links to a good tutorial on running a clean install.
Read it all so you know the way next time. Print out what you need now for this
time.
