In my experiance ieradicator will do that but those temp files go away when successfully
reinstalling ie. Something about doing away with the shell but only partially IIRC.
Perhaps your ie installation was faulty somewhere and you just needed to re-reinstall
ie?
It is strange, they are in use and cannot be deleted, when you drop to real DOS mode
and do deltree on them, they come right back just like the 'original' location folder
and files.
