Hi Jerry Thanks for the prompt reply. As an example of my problem,I got an e-mail from a friend with an attachment. The subject was own grandpa.When I tried to open it a pop up showed me "this file etc. The top of the pop up read"C:\windows\temp\OwnGrandpa.wmv I am completely lost Bob
