Game will not open

I installed a game on windows 95. It installed fine, but it want open. When I try
to open the game, it will pull up a list of programs. Why want it automatically
find the program? How do I find out which program to use? It also has another problem.
When you start it up, it says it can't find afterdark and try to reinstall it or
press any key to continue. Do you know what afterdark is and does it have anything
to do with the game not opening? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
