Thats probably because there is a filename in the Run key of the Win.ini file.
Open your Win.ini file with NotePad and look near the top for Run= . If it
refers to a file just check if this file exists on your hard drive. Then just remove
everything after Run= . I think there use to be a section called [Berkley]
you can remove this as well.
I remember when I installed AfterDark when I had Win3.1. I wasn't really impressed
so I uninstalled it then I had errors on startup, I just removed the text after Run=
