Hi John.

What you normally need on your boot disk is Format.com. If you are doing a fresh
install then the format will tell you if there are any bad sectors on the drive.

When you start to install Win95 Scandisk checks the drive for errors. If it finds
any then you are normally give the option to Fix the errors. Scandisk doesn't do
a full scan only a FAT scan. If you wanted to do a full scan before you installed
Win95 then change to you CD drive and type CD Win95 then Scandisk. After its don't
a FAT scan you will be asked if you want to do a full scan.

I hope she gave you the Win95 serial number as well.
