Thanks Keith for your response, it is appreciated. I have a few questions for you.
I was almost at the setup wizard for WIN 95 when the scan disk started . Scandisk
found file errors and directory errors which were corrected. After a check of the
hard drive (DRive C) Scandisk corrected most of the errors, but still found errors
on drive C that must be corrected before the install could go ahead. At what point
do I go to the CD drive and how exactly should I type what you said I should type?
This should correct the hard drive errors then? It seems this is the only thing holding
the install from progressing forward.
Yes, my sister did give me both the boot disk and the CD ROM for WIN 95 and
the original serial number as well. Thanks again for your help!...John
