Hi Louis:

Maybe there's a setting in the BIOS SETUP that
controls how much is displayed.

How you "enter" the setup mode varies from
manufacturer to manufacturer.  This list may help
if you don't know what your setup entry key is:

I'd be reluctant to "flash" the BIOS repeatedly.
Although I've never had any trouble the few times
I've done it myself, stories are rampant around
the plant about failed flashes making toast out of
a computer.
