You asked about this upgrade on dec.28 here we are in jan 12 and I assume it's still
not done. It's a very simple task! You need a 'setup floppy' 98 and a cd probably
98se. Before you power up, put the floppy in place. The pc will start in setup mode.
On the command, format c: (once thats done theres no going back) It will ask you
to boot, you select 'boot from cd' only THEN put in the cd. The prompt is E:setup
and let it rip. You can then sellect from a list the various component's you wish
to install. Follow the prompts exactly. Finally, make sure you have the OEM number,
it will ask for it. (right click my computer, properties). Good luck.
